In Wirral we currently have a Cameo Group in upton, there is a weekend club wich is run in partnership with the Children and Young Peoples Services. This provides support for childrenfrom 8yrs to 18yrs. The
children who attend have a high ratio of staff per child as the children often display challenging behaviours. we also run a summer
playscheme commisioned through the Children's Service and run in
conjunction with Lyndale School for young children with complex needs.
There are lots of oppertunities for partnership working in Wirral.
We provide a comprehensive induction & training programme for all
new staff with regular update for existing staff. We also work very closely
with training providers to tailor the training to Crossroads Care Policies and Procedures.
We work in close partnership with other care sectors such as
Alzheimer's Society, Adult Social Services, Children & Young People's
Services, Education. All these partnerships are with both Wirral &
Cheshire authorities.
We are able to provide a flexible tailored service that meets the needs
of clients with specific requirements from personal care to social
interaction in the community.
We provide services to a number of young people to support them in the
community, either to access day services or to support them when they are home from college during holidays. Funding is usually through the
Independant Living Fund |
