| Here at Crossroads Care Cheshire West & Wirral we pride ourselves in providing a high standard of training in all aspects of social care. For all new starters we have a full Induction Programme that covers all Crossroads Policies & Procedures as well as Mandatory courses. We have regular updates for existing staff when required. At the prsent time two thirds of our staff have otained or are working towards N.V.Q. 2 & 3. Half of our Office Care Team have successfully completed the Level 3 Award and the rest are working towards a Level 3 also. We work very closely with local training providers Wirral Ensign and Credo Training to enable training to be specific for Crossroads Care. |
Wirral Ensign We at Wirral Ensign have been working in partnership with Crossroads Care (Bromborough) for the past three years. The partnership began with the delivery of short courses (mandatory annual refresher training) consisting of: Health and Safety, Fire Safety and Equality and Diversity. Since then we have developed the training to encompass Induction training with the addition of First Aid, Manual Handling, Food Safety, Workplace Whistleblowing, POVA and Medications. Dealing predominantly with the Care Sector we have found that Crossroads as an organisation is an extremely thorough and professional company, this is reflected by the quality staff both existing and new that represent Crossroads.
