Short Breaks

Crossroads Care Cheshire West, Wirral and Shropshire have been providing a wide range of specialist home care services to people in need of help and support and respite care services for the Home Carer since 1981. Our ethos is to help and support those in need of home care services in any way we possibly can with an approach that is both professional and sympathetic whilst at all times maintaining the dignity and self respect of our customers.

As much as you love the person you are caring for, as a home carer you yourself will need looking after sooner or later and Crossroads Care can provide you with the much needed short break and respite from caring. Our well trained and highly qualified carer support workers/volunteers will take over the reins and give you the chance to recharge your batteries and have a bit of “me time” for a change.

Our Service

Our short breaks services include a menu of services dependant on the needs of the person you are caring for.


Our Service includes a:

  • Free initial assessment from a trained service assessor
  • Free 6 week review of your service
  • Free annual check up on your service
  • Fully trained and supported staff and volunteers to
  • support you as needed
