When Crossroads set up the first Saturday Club for service users in 1995 we provided care for a mixed aged client group with ages ranging from 1 year old to 40 years plus.  This was a wonderful opportunity to provide the much needed respite care to carers on the Wirral and we learnt a lot from those early days.  We soon learned how to identify the inevitable escape artist and staff became adept at coping with a wide range of needs and behaviours
