Carer Support Service, Private Respite Service and Services For Children/Young People
These service are to provide a break for carers who are caring for a seriously ill person
at home. Care is tailored to suit the needs of the individual family after initial discussion
between the Care Manager/Senior Carer Support Worker and the family concerned.
This service is able to include care ranging from personal care and company through to
escorted trips out of the house.
Bathing Service
This service is to provide a break for carers who are caring for someone at home by provision
of a bathing service for the person needing help. Care is tailored to suit the needs of the
individual after initial discussions between the Care Manager/Senior Carer Support Worker
and the family concerned. Where appropriate, bathing equipment is available to enable clients
to use their own existing bathroom facilities.
CLUBS 4x Asperger’s Groups, Asperger's Social Skills Groups, All Stars Club, Friday Club, Connections
These service are to provide a break for carers of adults with either learning or physical
difficulties. Activities are varied to suit the needs of the clients, examples of which are: - crafts,
quizzes, games and outings.The Asperger's groups are to provide a social group for children
and adults with Aspergers Syndrome. The group aims to help to practice skills in a social setting
and on a one to one basis. A Speech and Language Therapist, a Speech and Language Therapy
Assistant and a Chester Crossroads Support Worker trained in Aspergers Syndrome are all in
attendance. |
